Gulf Chlorine awards USD70 m worth contract to FATA

(MENAFN) Gulf Chlorine WLL has awarded FATA EPC, a division of FATA Spa (a Finmeccanica Company), an EPC contract to construct 70-tons per day Chlor-Alkali Plant at Mesaieed Industrial City in Qatar, according to Oman Observer. The contract has been signed Gulf Chlorine WLL and FATA EPC in Muscat last week between Gulf Chlorine WLL, a joint venture between Oman Chlorine SAOG, and Al Mirqab Capital, a Qatar local Company. The project was estimated at USD70 million, and will be designed according to the Best Available Techniques (BAT).
