Zain KSA profit rises 10 percent in 2013

(MENAFN) Zain KSA made a significant growth in revenue in 2013 to reach USD1.738 billion compared to USD 1.645 billion in 2012, according to Arab News. Numbers of subscribers have boosted by 10 percent reaching 8.7 million in 2013 compared to 7.9 million in 2012. Revenues of Internet were the main reason behind the revenue's growth, followed by the postpaid segment. The company's gross profit rose by 10 percent, reaching USD826million in 2013 compared to USD773 million a year earlier. General and administrative expenses have been also eliminated by 27 percent year on year.
