Two Omani power producers plan IPO

(MENAFN) Omani power producers Al Suwaidi Power and Al Batinah Power are planning to float initial public offerings with a combined issue size at USD94 million this year. Executive president of CMA told Times of Oman: "Both these share offers will be floated simultaneously sometime in May. The share offer is open for both Omanis and expatriates." Stakeholders of the companies are offering 35 percent each of the their holding in the firms in accordance with the government stipulation for offering shares.
