UAE's Etisalat profit up 70 percent in Q4

(MENAFN) Etisalat, the UAE's biggest telecoms operator by revenue and subscribers, saw a significant growth in net profit 70 percent in the fourth quarter of 2013, according to Arab News. Net profit of Etisalat was estimated at USD394.77 million in the same quarter. The company's net profit exceeded the expected profit of USD4297 million. Etisalat's 2013 full-year net profit grew to USD1.402 billion up form USD1.334 billion in 2012.
