Middle Eastern airlines to post USD2.2 b profit in 2014

(MENAFN) Middle Eastern airlines are expected to register a slight drop in profit reaching USD2.2 billion this year, according to Arabian Business. The announcement was revealed by International Air Transport Association (IATA) said on Wednesday, adding that profit will be down by USD200 million from its previous forecast. IATA also added that cargo is registering strong growth as a result of reaching newly emerging trade lanes.
