Virgin Mobile Middle East to launch in KSA in first half

(MENAFN) Virgin Mobile Middle East & Africa (VMMEA) expects to launch telecommunications services in Saudi Arabia in the first half of this year, gulfnews reported. The Communication and Information Technology Commission (CITC) announced that VMMEA was one of the winning bidders for three mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) licenses in the kingdom. The award of the license was a formality ahead of what seems to be the largest shake-up in the kingdom's telecommunications market in six years.
