UAE spending on healthcare to increase 10 percent

(MENAFN) UAE Residents' spending on healthcare industry is expected to boost by over 10 percent in 2014 reaching USD18 billion, according to the Emirates 24/7. Business Monitor International (BMI) said spending on healthcare by UAE residents totaled USD16Ù«33 billion in 2014. BMI said: "UAE's increasing investment from public and private sectors in its healthcare industry is set to bring improved standards of care and increased access to medicines, as well as making it a more appealing destination for medical tourists."
