UAE's Starwood Hotels, MAF sign agreement on two projects
(MENAFN) Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide and Majid Al Futtaim Properties have signed an agreement to launch Westin and Le M"ridien brands in Bahrain, according to the Emirates 24/7. The projects will be located in the heart of Manama and are near popular tourist and commercial areas. The two hotels will add 460 more rooms Starwood"s portfolio in Bahrain. Michael Wale, President, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Europe, Africa and Middle East, said: "Following last year"s successful conversion and opening of Sheraton Dubai Mall of the Emirates, we are delighted to strengthen our relationship with Majid Al Futtaim Properties as we debut our Westin and Le M"ridien brands in Bahrain."
