UAE's Arkan profit reaches USD1.63 m in 2013

(MENAFN) Net profit of UAE-based Arkan Building Materials Company was estimated at USD11.63 million in 2013 compared to USD12.78 million in 2012, according to Gulf News. The company said it could deal with the challenging market conditions that the industry faced during the year. The company's revenue from Emirates Cement Factory reached USD45.30 million in 2013 compared to USD49.67 million a year earlier. Arkan said that it could manage its sales volume to still high though competition in the market was intense.
