Boeing, Mubadala discuss USD2.5 b contract

(MENAFN) Boeing and Mubadala are expected to soon sign a contract worth USD2.5 billion after discussions held at the Dubai Airshow in 2013, according to Gulf News. Mubadala's subsidiary, Strata Manufacturing, already builds rib components for the Boeing B777 aircraft. Jeffrey Johnson, President of Boeing Middle East, said: "We meet all the time. We have people out at the Al Ain plant helping to get them certified and produce " its a continuing discussion." Mubadala produces parts of Boeing and Airbus wide body aircraft.
