Abu Dhabi rents up 10 percent in Q1

(MENAFN) Residential rentals in Abu Dhabi surged 10 percent in the first quarter of 2014, Arabian Business reported. A report by CBRE said that housing units in off-island locations experienced higher rent growth at 14 percent during the period. According to the report, two bedroom apartments within the Al Reef Downtown development currently range between USD21,777 and USD28,583 a year. Annual rents for a typical two bedroom city center apartment are now between USD25,860 and USD35,388 a year.
