Kuwait's Zain profit up 8 percent in Q1

(MENAFN) Kuwait's Zain, the country's No.1 telecom operator by subscribers, saw an 8 percent growth in profit in the first quarter of the current year, according to Arab News. The company's net profit for the quarter was estimated at USD198.5 million compared to USD184.7 million in the first quarter 2013. Zain is expected to maker USD177.6 million and USD189.39 million quarterly profit respectively.
