Abu Dhabi awards approval to 13 development projects

(MENAFN) Thirteen development projects in the UAE have been approved by the Abu Dhabi Urban Planning Council (UPC) in the first three months of the current year, according to the Emirates 24/7. The projects extend over 4 million square meters, of which 70 percent are devoted to residential. The development will include reclaimed land along the coast and a number of canals and islands interlinked by boulevards. Al Raha Beach East is the first phase of the overall Al Raha Beach development and will provide over 3,000 apartments, townhouses and villas as well as 50,000 square meter of prime Grade A office space.
