UAE's Imdaad to invest USD27m in new facility
(MENAFN) Facilities management firm Imdaad plans to construct a technologically advanced material recovery facility worth USD27.21 million located in Jabal Ali, according to the Emirates 24/7. The new project will extend over 60.000 square meters, and aims maily to invest the recyclables of the company's solid waste, The agreement was signed by Jamal Abdullah Lootah, CEO of Imdaad, and Salma Ali Saif Bin Hareb, CEO of Jafza and Economic Zones World (EZW). The plant's capacity is expected to reach 1.000 tons per day, and may be boosted in the future. "The establishment of this facility will augment Economic Zones World's own efforts in moving towards greater sustainability under the Green Economy initiative announced by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. By providing Jebel Ali-based companies access to waste recycling at their doorstep, we are ensuring a cleaner and greener economy for our future generations,? said Salma Ali Saif Bin Hareb, CEO Economic Zones World.
