UAE's Drake & Scull signs USD82m deal
(MENAFN) Drake & Scull International (DSI) has been awarded a USD82.75 million deal to provide an electrical transmission line of the Uttarakhand Power Sector Investment Program-Project in Uttarakhand, India, according to the Emirates 24/7. The deal is expected to open the doors to DSI to make massive investments and expand in India. Under the deal, DSI will be responsible for constructing a new 400 kiloVolt (kV) Double Circuit (DC) transmission line in India The company will also undertake the survey, design, fabrication and supply of 400 kV DC transmission line towers, supply of conductors and insulators, erection of towers and other related materials, and testing and commissioning of the whole transmission line.
