    UAE's Takaful profits soar in Q2

    (MENAFN) Takaful Emarat Insurance posted an increase in net profit of USD29.39 thousand in the April-June period, compared to USD1.49 million in losses in the same period last year, Gulf News reported.

    During the January-June period, the company"s net profit increased, hitting USD84.11 thousands compared to USD3.26 million in losses during the first half of 2013.

    Meanwhile, the company's total assets had a slight increase, amounting to USD43.28 million compared to USD 43.25 million registered in the same period of 2013.
