    Kuwait Food Co profits up 8.7 percent in Q2

    (MENAFN) Kuwait Food Company posted a profit increase of 8.7 percent in the April-June period, The Peninsula Qatar reported.

    The company, which sells food products under the Americana brand name, profits reached USD45.2 million compared to USD41.50 million in the same period last year.

    The Kuwait-based food company's total revenue soared 5.9 percent, amounting to USD 840.99 million, the company announced.
