Air Arabia launches services to Chittagong
(MENAFN) Air Arabia, the first and largest low-cost carrier in MENA, announced plans to start running three new flights per week from its new hub in Ras Al Khaimah to Chittagong in Bangladesh, Gulf News reported.
These flights, starting September 2, 2014, will be Air Arabia's 98th destination serviced by the company and the second in Bangladesh. The airline already has 14 weekly flights to Dhaka, the nation's capital.
The newly launched services are expected to strengthen the airlines' connectivity by connecting it to Bangladesh's 2nd largest city with a population of 6.5 million.
The new flights will depart from Ras Al Khaima Airport heading to Chittagong at 01:35 apm on Sundays, Wednesdays, Fridays, arriving at Chittagong at 08:30 in local time. Meanwhile, return flights will depart from Chittagong at 21:20 on Saturdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
