    Saudi's non-oil business at highest in August

    (MENAFN) A survey showed that, Saudi's non-oil business activity registered a remarkable growth which was the fastest in more than three years, Gulf Business reported.

    Saudi Arabia Purchasing Managers Index grew to 60.7 points last month, from 60.1 points in the last month.

    The sub-index for output hits 67.4 points, the highest since 2011. The new orders sub-index at 69.4 points, the highest since 2012. The employment sub-index, at 53.0 points, was the highest since 2013.

    Growth in new orders expanded thanks to foreign markets, with the new export orders sub-index increasing to 62.6 points.
