    Palm Jumeirah's water network project 93 percent complete

    (MENAFN) Construction on the USD15.65 million Dewa project to supply, extend and launch the 600/900mm water-pipeline network in Palm Jumeirah is 93 percent completed with Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) laying 2.907 meters of the 3km project, Emirates 24/7 reported.

    The project includes extending 600/900mm main pipes along the trunk of the Palm through the tunnel until it reaches the crescent of the Palm.

    When completed, the project will raise water supply to meet the increasing demand for water, and support current and future projects on the Palm.

    "The main goal of this project is to enhance efficiency of the water-transmission networks, and increase water supply to meet the increasing demand for water to support current and future projects on the Palm and its sustainable development," CEO of DEWA said
