Meraas launches USD2.72 Dubai Parks & Resorts project
(MENAFN) Dubai-based developer Meraas Holding announced launching its Dubai Park & Resorts project that is set to take shape in Jebel Ali from 2016, Arabian Business reported.
The first level of the project will include three theme parks - Motiongate Dubai, Bollywood Parks Dubai, and LEGOLAND Dubai, Meraas announced in a statement.
The development will also feature Riverpark ' a grand entrance plaza and Lapita, a family themed hotel. The first phase is scheduled for completion in 2016 with ground work starting in February.
The USD2.72 billion project aims to help Dubai reach its target of attracting 20 million tourists by 2020 and was first announced in 2012.
