    Rail line to link GCC states to hit USD15.4b

    (MENAFN) Oman's Ministry of Transport & Communications, with the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, organizes the first and official GCC Rail and Metro Conference, Saudi Gazette reported.

    GCC's rail way project is one of the most important megaprojects in the world today, GCC's planned investments are estimated at more than USD200 billion over the next 10 years with more than USD15.4 billion in the GCC rail way with an estimated length of 2,200 km.

    The GCC Rail and Metro Conference 2015, will be attended by high-ranking government officials from the GCC States, in order to share their opinions and progress on project's development.

    The panel discussions will be moderated by the multi-awarded journalist and best-selling author, Tim Sebastian, founder and chairman of The Doha Debates.
