    Bahrain-Saudi 2nd causeway to cost USD5b

    (MENAFN) The second causeway, which will connect Bahrain with Saudi Arabia, is expected to cost USD5bn to build, Arabian Business reported.

    The second bridge, which will be called King Hamad Causeway, will be used by vehicles as well as freight and passenger trains and will become part of the GCC railway network.

    The complete details of the project, including financing, are expected to be finalized at a joint Saudi-Bahrain meeting next month.
