Iran-Kuwait steel company to commence pilot production
(MENAFN) Kuwait Unisteel Rolling Mill Company, established with Iran's cooperation, commenced pilot production last week, Iran Daily reported.
The company was established in 21 months with total investment of USD95.88 million, local media reported.
With an annual production capacity of 240,000 tons rolling mill products, the company has the ability to produce steel products in sizes ranging from 8 inches to 40 inches.
Iranian Mines & Mining Industries Development & Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) owns 49 percent of the Kuwaiti company's share.
