(MENAFN) LinkedIn, the largest professional networking website, announced it is planning to increase its investments in Dubai, its regional headquarters for the Middle East and North Africa, as it continues to attract the highest percentage of talent inflow, Gulf News reported.
LinkedIn, which opened its offices in Dubai last October, said that number of its users have increased from five million users last October to reach 13 million users now, of which more than one million are from the UAE.
"The region is one of the fastest growing markets in the world. The economies are very strong and value proposition of the members are really resonating and we have a great team in Dubai. We see more investment coming," senior vice-president of international business at LinkedIn, said.
LinkedIn also said that the UAE saw the most talent coming into the country with the majority of members coming from India, while Spain, which has been facing tough economic conditions, witnessed the highest number of talents leaving the country, with the majority heading the United Kingdom.
