(MENAFN) Royal Jet, UAE's private charter company, announced it is planning to nearly double its fleet to 20 by making an investment of around USD700 million by 2020, Emirates 24/7 reported
The company said it has already added two aircraft to its fleet, with the addition of a new Bombardier Learjet 60 XR business jet (A6-RJE) and a Bombardier Global 5000 business jet (A6-RJC), which joined its fleet in October and November, respectively and that it will receive two more early next year.
The private charter company said that it expects that a second Bombardier Global 5000 business jet will enter into service in January 2015, which will be followed by a second Bombardier Learjet 60 XR business jet within the first four months of 2015.
Royal Jet also confirmed that it is renewing its collaboration with Boeing and will take delivery of two new Boeing business jets, which will be added to its existing fleet of 11 aircrafts of 6 Boeing Business Jets, 2 Gulfstream G300s, 2 Bombardier Learjet 60s and a Bombardier Global 5000,
The company said that the Bombardier and Boeing aircraft part of its fleet replacement and expansion program, and that it is also considering aircraft from Airbus including the CS 300and Gulfstream for future acquisitions.
