UAE's Ajman USD272.20m budget for 2015 approved
(MENAFN) Ajman announced it has approved the general budget of the emirate for the fiscal year 2015 with a total expenditure of about USD288.54 million and estimated revenues of almost the same amount, Emirates 24/7 reported.
"This is the first budget following the approval of Ajman's strategy and vision 2021, aiming to achieve sustainable development and the well-being and happiness of the citizens and residents," The Representative of Ajman's Ruler's for Administrative and Financial Affairs said.
The emirate also said that the 2015 budget is 23.44 percent larger than the 2014 budget, with the growth in expenses being attributed to the government's interest in the emirate's developmental projects, while the increase in revenues is a result of opening new channels for investments in the emirate.
The budget includes 33 percent for the economic affairs sector, 32 percent for housing and community facilities, 22 percent for the public services sector, and 13 percent for system and public safety affairs sector.
