    Egypt's inflation increases to 7.21 percent in Q1

    (MENAFN) Egypt's urban customer inflation hits 11.5 percent in the first quarter of the year due to an increase in food and utility prices, according to an executive information agency, Reuters reported.

    The Egyptian yearly urban consumer inflation and the core inflation showed a slight increase for two months in a row now and it is said that the country is finding difficulties in matching growth and prices.

    Additionally, the country's core inflation increased to 7.21 percent, marking a small leap from 7.15 percent in a month time, according to the central bank of Egypt.
