Oman to spend USD7b on Indonesian oil project

(MENAFN) The Sultanate of Oman has dedicated a total of USD7 billion for the construction of an oil storage facility, a refinery and a plant in Indonesia, according to officials, Muscat Daily reported.

The official inauguration for the projects is going to take place next year, according to the Indonesian Minister of Energy and Minerals Resources. The Sultanate is also going to provide crude oil to Indonesia.

It is said that Indonesia's fuel output has suffered from a lack of investment in its refining sector since the construction of its last refinery was completed in 1994.
