    Qatar, Brazil bilateral trade surpasses USD1b in 2014

    (MENAFN) Bilateral trade between Qatar and Brazil has logged a double-digit growth, surpassing USD1 billion in 2014 compared to USD915 million registered in the previous year.

    The main exported goods from Qatar to Brazil included fertilizers, mineral fuel and oil, plastics, and organic chemicals, with their export value crossing USD664.3 million in 2014, up 14.3 percent on-year.

    Meanwhile, Brazil's exports included meat, inorganic chemicals, ores and preparations of meat, with their export value standing at USD369.5 million last year, up 10.6 percent from 2013.

    "This upward trajectory demonstrates steady bilateral relations between the two countries that will continue to create more mutually beneficial," CEO of the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) said.
