    Oman's Haya Water to invest USD3.23b in future projects

    (MENAFN) Oman's Haya Water plans to invest USD3.23 billion over the next few years to build future sewage projects, which is in line with the company's plan to develop a world-class wastewater facility.

    The state-owned company's investment is to build sewage pipelines, trunk lines and sewage treatment plants in six catchment areas in Muscat governorate, including Bausher, Al Amerat, Muttrah and Seeb.

    "In Bausher area, we have more than USD786.97 million upcoming projects," the deputy general manager of Haya Water projects said while presenting a paper on his company's current and future projects.

    He said the proposed investment for future projects in Seeb and Al Amerat catchment areas would be USD517.74 million and USD398.66 million, respectively.
