    Emeriti Majid Al Futtaim plans major schemes in MENA

    (MENAFN) Majid Al Futtaim Group, the Dubai-based Emirati holding company which owns and operates shopping malls, retail, and leisure establishments across the MENA region, plans to open a shopping mall in the Saudi capital.

    Additionally, the top firm anxiously seeks to expand in other Gulf markets such as Muscat where it will be building the Mall of Oman set to be launched by 2019, not to mention double its current portfolio in the next five years.

    In more detail, the group operates a total of 18 shopping malls and 11 hotels and there mixed-use communities across MENA with almost 27,000 employees, it also holds exclusive rights to the Carrefour franchise in 38 markets.

    "I think one of the secrets of our success is that we do pay a lot of attention to the details, starting from the brainstorming session, to the completion and operational phase," said senior director at Shopping Malls for the group.
