    Oman records 1.5pct jump in oil production over Apr

    (MENAFN) Oman's crude oil yield hiked by 1.57 percent, thus reaching a total of 29.83 million barrels throughout the previous month, which is equivalent to 994,303 barrels per day, based on recent reports.

    According to the Ministry of Oil and Gas, the nation's crude oil exports hit 26.99 million in the cited month, an average of 899,637 barrels per day, representing a drop of 2.86 percent as opposed to March exports.

    Taiwan, India and the United States have risen their inbound shipments from the sultanate last month, growing import volumes by 4.53 percent, 4.43 percent and 1.11 percent, respectively, through March.

    Furthermore, the Philippines shipped in almost 2 percent of the overall outbound shipments volumes of Oman Crude over April, which strongly indicates continuous demand for Omani oil.
