    MENA to record growth at 2.3% in 2016

    (MENAFN) The leading provider of economic analysis and forecasts, FocusEconomics, stated that economic growth of the oil exporting countries in the Middle East North Africa region is expected to be at 2.3% in 2016.

    While the growth in 2016 was the weakest growth since the height of the global financial crisis in 2009.

    Ricard Torn', head of Economic Research at FocusEconomics, said that MENA growth would be slightly stronger in 2017, at 2.8%.
