    Syria's 2019 state budget sees USD1b raise

    (MENAFN) The Syrian Cabinet was declared to have passed a bill for next year's general state budget, placing it at a worth of USD7 billion.

    The newly set budget accounts for a USD1 billion boost in comparison to the state budget set for this year.

    The USD7 billion was confirmed to be spending 2782 billion pounds on running expenses, 1100 billion pounds on investment, and 811 billion pounds on social support.

    The rest of the budget is also setting 50 billion pounds for reconstruction, with another spending on revenues for the opening of job opportunities.
