    Ownership of non-founding foreign investors in Tadawul drop to 1.49 percent previous week

    (MENAFN) According to market data, ownership of the non-founding foreign investors " namely swap holders, residents and qualified foreign investors (QFIs) " in the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) decreased from 6.67 percent to 1.49 percent in the week ending Dec. 12, 2019.


    The market capitalization increased by 400 percent from SAR 1.85 trillion to SAR 9.23 trillion ahead of listing Saudi Aramco's shares.


    GCC investors' ownership in the Saudi market dropped for the week to 0.47 percent, in comparison with 1.80 percent in the last week.


    Foreign investors' ownership, including strategic partners, hit 2.02 percent, fall from 9.28 percent in the last week.
