Lebanon calls for support or it will have to restructure its debt

(MENAFN) Lebanon will have to reorganize its debt if it couldn't get financial and technical assist from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and worldwide donors, Moody's rating agency informed on Monday.

Lebanon will face a whole loss of its economic steadiness while investors in the private sector will incur huge losses if worldwide donors do not save the country, as said by Moody's.

Lebanese caretaker Prime Minister Saad Hariri previous week asked the IMF and the World Bank to provide help for Lebanon in drafting a strategy aimed at rescuing the economy.

Hariri had also asked friendly countries of Lebanon to help the country in facing its recent economic and financial challenges.
