    Turkey: electricity prices for today

    (MENAFN) Official figures showed on Monday that, in the day-ahead spot market for Tuesday, the maximum electricity rate for one-megawatt hour will be 333.27 Turkish liras at 17:00 local time, and the minimum will be 200.01 liras at 04:00 local time.


    A growth of 20.83 percent to 141.31 million liras in comparison with Sunday was shown by Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume.


    For the day-ahead spot market, the arithmetical and weighted average cost of electricity is calculated as 305.81 liras and 309.81 liras, respectively.


    On the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Monday, the maximum electricity cost was set as 324.99 liras at 17:00 local time, and the minimum was 44.99 liras at 04:00 local time.
