    Total public debt grow in first 10 months of 2019 in Jordan

    (MENAFN) In the first 10 months of 2019, Jordan's total public debt grew to around USD42 billion.


    Figures by the Jordanian finance ministry showed that, the total debt accounted for 96.9 percent of the gross domestic product by the end of October 2019 in comparison with the same period in 2018.


    The total domestic debt for the end of October arrived at 17,703 billion dinars, as figures informed; at the end of October, the volume of state budget deficit totaled to 1.133 billion dinars, while profits grew by 1.6 percent to reach 6.045 billion dinars.


    The volume of public spending grew by 371 million dinars to arrive at 7.178 billion dinars at the end of October, while profits totaled to 6.045 billion dinars, as figures showed.
