    With $30.6 billion, Turkey's automotive sector surpassed in 2019

    Based to 2019 statics, Istanbul classified as the largest exporter city in Turkey, while the title of the top country's exports went to Turkey's automotive sector with $30.6 billion.

    According to data filed by Anadolu Agency from the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), a 2% rise was seen in the total exports which peaked with $180.47 billion in 2019.

    The industry was the best among main sectors with a 1.5% rise year-on-year reaching $138.25 billion, whereas mining and Agriculture recorded $4.31 and $23.39 respectively.

    Germany still serving as the main target destination for Turkish exports with $14.96 billion, despite the fact that export roads of Turkey have been exceeded more than 200 countries and free zones.
