    Saudi Arabia: increase of 54 percent in foreign direct investment

    (MENAFN) On Sunday, Saudi Arabia stated a yearly climb of 54 percent in the foreign direct investment in 2019.


    As many as 1,131 new global firms set up operations in Saudi Arabia in 2019, according to a report by the Saudi Arabia General Investment Authority.


    Some 150 investor agreements were inked by the authorities across high-priority sectors under the Vision 2030 in 2019, from tourism to value-added manufacturing, said the report.


    In 2019, 193 new construction firms, 190 manufacturing firms and 178 Information and Communication Technology corporations were founded.
