    Turkey: electricity prices for today

    (MENAFN) Official figures showed that, in the day-ahead spot market for Sunday, the maximum electricity rate for one-megawatt hour will be 337.98 Turkish liras at 19:00 local time, and the minimum will be 199.99 liras at 09:00 local time.


    A drop of 8.62 percent to 130.88 million liras in comparison with Friday was shown on Saturday by Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume.


    For the day-ahead spot market, the arithmetical and weighted average cost of electricity is calculated as 307.68 liras and 308.31 liras, respectively.


    On the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Friday, the maximum electricity cost was set as 336.98 liras at 18:00 local time, and the minimum will be 274.87 liras at 03:00 local time.
