    Bank Muscat's net profits increase by 3.3 percent in 2019

    (MENAFN) According to a statement by Bank Muscat, a net profit of USD481.96 million in 2019 was reported by a leading financial organization in Oman.


    The statement said, in 2019, the net earnings grew by 3.3 percent from 179.63 million riyals in the last year.


    It added that, in comparison with 190.34 million riyals in 2018, the operating expenses of the bank totaled 195.93 million riyals recording a rise of 2.9 percent.


    Bank Muscat's Board of Directors recommended distributing 40 percent of its income, with 35 percent as cash dividends and 5 percent as bonus shares with its recent capital amounting around 108.32 million riyals.
