    Libya: eastern-based authorities import fuel illegally

    (MENAFN) After tribal leaders in eastern Libya shut oil fields in January in objection against the UN-backed government, the eastern-based authorities have unlawfully imported fuel, according to Libya's state-owned National Oil Corporation (NOC).


    As said in a statement by NOC of the UN-backed Libyan government, "In the last few days, there has been an illegal shipment of aviation fuel into Libya".


    The statement added that, NOC has informed the UN, the Government of National Accord and many other governments of these "clear violations" of the UN decisions and Libyan laws.
