    Unemployment rate in Turkey at 13.8 percent

    (MENAFN) According to Turkey's statistical authority, Turkey's unemployment rate reached 13.8 percent in January.


    As said by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat), "the unemployment rate occurred as 13.8% with 0.9 percentage point decrease".


    Number of unemployed aged 15 and more decreased to 4.3 million yearly, as it added; non-agricultural unemployment rate recorded a 1.1 percent decrease to stand at 15.7 percent.


    TurkStat said that, the employment rate reached 44 percent with a 0.5 percent drop.
