    Export of steel products in past Iranian calendar year rises 27 percent

    (MENAFN) Iran's export of steel products in the earlier Iranian calendar year increased 27 percent in comparison with the previous year.

    Iran's main steel producers managed to export about 7.33 million tons of the products in the past year.

    In the mentioned period more than 20.226 million tons of steel ingots were produced by Iran 10 main firms to record a five-percent increase yearly, as data issued by the Industry, Mining and Trade Ministry showed.

    The firms also produced almost 13.38 million tons of other steel products last year, which is an increased of six percent compared to the preceding year.
