Turkish stocks end week higher
(MENAFN) On Friday, Turkey 's main stock market index rose by 0.58 per cent to 99,768.15 points at the end of the weekly trading .
Compared to Thursday's closure at 99,193.03 points, the BIST 100 index of Borsa Istanbul went up by 575.12 points to 100,401.42 points at the beginning of Friday's session.
The BIST 100 lingered between 99,678.32 points and 100,812.52 points on the week's closing session, with 41 stocks on the index increased, 12 dropped, while the rest of the stocks were stable compared to the earlier end.
Ending the day with an exchange volume of almost 707 billion Turkish liras (USD 101 billion), the main index reported 11.1 billion Turkish liras (USD 1.6 billion) in daily market cap.
