    Turkey: Economy experts anticipate 4.3B USD current account shortage

    Turkey's current account balance is predicted to post a shortage of 4.3 billion U.S. dollars in April, an Anadolu Agency survey found on Wednesday, June 10th.

    Turkey's Central Bank is set to declare the balance of payments statistics for April on Friday, June 12th.

    The expectations of a group of 16 economy specialists range between 2.2 billion U.S. dollars and 5.2 billion U.S. dollars.

    The end-2020 current account balance is estimated to report a deficit of 10.9 billion U.S. dollars.

    The country's current account balance in March witnessed a deficit of nearly 4.9 billion U.S. dollars.
