    Industry, agriculture ministries ink memorandum of understanding to co-manufacture chemical composts

    (MENAFN) ISNA accounted Iranian Industry, Mining, and Trade Ministry and the country's Agriculture Ministry marked a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on September 17 for collaboration on the manufacture of phosphoric acidic and phosphate composts.

    The memorandum of understanding was marked in a ceremony attended by Jafar Sarqeini the Acting Industry Minister, Kazem Khavazi the Agriculture Minister, Ardeshir Sa'd Mohammadi Head of National Iranian Copper Industry Company (NICIC), and Khodadad Gharibpour the Head of Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).

    This memorandum is aspired to make self-sufficiency in the manufacture of phosphoric acid and phosphate chemical fertilizers whereas sustaining domestic manufacture and cut reliance on imports.

    Supported on the memorandum, NICIC is heading for manufacture the talked about composts and the Agricultural Support Services Company (ASSC), will make a promised buy of the fertilizer manufactured by the National Copper Company to provide the high-quality manufactured merchandise to the country's farmers.
