    Iran: Steel exports surpassed 2.3m

    (MENAFN) Iran"s steel exports in the mentioned six months dropped 33 percent compared to the prior year"s same period.
    As revealed, the drop in the exports of the mentioned goods is mostly because of the reduction of the country"s foreign trade because of the outburst of the COVID-19 and also the upsurge in the command for the stated goods inside the country.
    Of the country"s total exports in H1, 19.5 percent was associated with the sixth month of this year, which shows the exports are following an upward trend.
    Iran exported 1.786 million tons of steel in the first five months of the present Iranian calendar year (March 20-August 21).
